PressPausePlay

I’m guilty of having a severe lack of respect when it comes to documentaries. Mostly because of the title of the genre. They should be called non-fiction fiction.
That being said, I recently watched a very good documentary online called PressPausePlay. It reaches out to artistic professionals from all walks of life and discusses what the digital revolution means to art. What it means to consumers. Has art become so democratized that looking back 20 years from now it will just look like a giant mess? The film does a great job of getting various opinions about what good and bad things our culture has done in the past ten years or so. This film is infuriating, heartbreaking, rejoiceful, and yet inspirational to me.
So if you don’t mind watching a movie online, I would recommend this. Especially if you’re an artist or just generally creative.
