This month Carlin and I from the Pod, James Pod Podcast tackle the iconic Goldfinger. One of us may think it’s a bit overrated. One of us, yet again, drafts a controversial dodgeball player. As always, we delve into the movie and discuss the origins of golf, those pesky Masterson sisters, and of course, the old lady packing the machine gun.
It’s March 007th and that means episode 007 of the Pod, James Podcast is available on iTunes and Stitcher. Carlin and I talk about Roger Moore’s ridiculous clown outfit, Maud Adams’ second time being a Bond girl, and that impressive stunt team. We also draft new dodgeball players, hear from Alabama Dog, and I’m still not convinced QK survived this episode.

Here we go again. It’s about to be March and we’re still talking about these movies? For the love of God, Academy, please move the Oscars up in the calendar. I’m sure America would have taken one night off from Bob Costas and NBC to watch your ceremony. I would consider myself a pretty big Oscars fan but having it so late in the year wears on movie-goers.
This year’s race is actually full of unknowns and tight races (the most notable being best picture) and should make for an entertaining ceremony.
Here are my predictions for the 2014 Oscars. Read More…
If you’re one of the few Timothy Dalton fans out there then this episode is for you. Carlin and I from the Pod, James Pod Podcast talk at length about Dalton’s debut film, The Living Daylights, as well as update our 007 Dodgeball teams, figure out where the heck Alabama Dog has been this entire time, and point out possibly the greatest scene in any Bond movie ever.
